About Burgerville
Burgerville was founded in 1961 by George Propstra in Vancouver, Washington. The company’s early years were marked by consistent growth, and by the 1970s, Burgerville had become one of the largest privately-owned restaurant chains in the Pacific Northwest.
George Propstra’s son, Richard, joined the company in 1972 and eventually became CEO. Under Richard’s leadership, Burgerville continued to grow and expand its menu offerings.
